About ETeachingShare

Good teaching shouldn’t stay in one classroom.

The lesson you built for one Tuesday can help another educator find their way through theirs. The practice you learned the hard way can become the session that moves someone else forward. ETeachingShare exists so that work can be shared, credited and paid for.

Why this exists

Most good teaching never leaves the room it was made for.

Teachers produce an enormous amount of excellent material — units, scaffolds, assessment plans, conference notes, the explanation that finally made a concept land. Most of it sits in a shared drive, is copied for one colleague, and then disappears when the year ends.

Meanwhile the educator two schools over is rebuilding the same thing from scratch on a Sunday. Not because the work doesn’t exist, but because there has never been a straightforward place to find it, know who made it, and pay them properly for it.

That is the whole idea here: give teaching work a wider audience, keep the author attached to it, and make the exchange fair enough that people keep contributing.

Learn together, live or later

The annual membership includes live and pre-recorded professional development. Hosts set their own seat price and keep it, less card processing; a separately priced session is charged on top of membership.

What we stand for

Four commitments we can actually keep.

01Clear expectations
Listings say what they contain: format, grade level, subject, page count and rights. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Live sessions state their length, platform and refund policy before anyone books.
02Credit where it belongs
Every listing carries the name of the educator who made it. Work you did not create does not belong in your storefront, and reselling someone else’s pack is not a grey area here.
03Accessible, respectful participation
Course content is written for a real classroom reading level, files are downloadable rather than streamed-only, and the marketplace is browsable without an account.
04Claims we can keep
We publish counts that come from the catalogue itself. We do not invent testimonials, impact statistics or accreditation to make the marketplace look bigger than it is.

Where we are precise

  • Certificates of participation for a live session record that you attended. They are not an accredited qualification, and we do not describe them as one.
  • Anyone can browse from anywhere, but selling and payouts depend on Stripe being available for the educator’s country. Availability is not a promise of eligibility.
  • Annual membership includes Live PD. Individually priced sessions are a separate purchase, set by the host, capped at CAD$200.
  • Marketplace sales carry a platform commission; live session sales do not. Processing fees on live sales are borne by the host, not added to the platform.

An invitation

If you have made something that works, someone else needs it.

Start by looking at what other educators have already published. When you are ready, list one thing — a single unit is enough — and see how it travels.
