1. Membership Fee
ETeachingShare requires an active membership ($5 CAD per month or $59 CAD per year, plus applicable taxes) to access the platform. This membership grants access to browse, purchase, and upload resources. Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. You must maintain an active membership to access content and upload resources.
2. Membership Access & Pricing
Browsing and buying is free — anyone can browse the marketplace and purchase resources without a membership. A ETeachingShare seller membership ($5 CAD/month or $59 CAD/year) is only required for teachers who wish to upload and sell resources on the platform.

- •A seller membership is only needed to upload and sell your own resources.
- •Resource prices are set by the individual seller and are clearly displayed before purchase.
3. Eligibility & Geographic Restrictions
- •Only teachers and instructors residing in Canada are eligible to create seller accounts and upload resources for sale on ETeachingShare.
- •Buyers may purchase resources only if they reside in Canada or the United States.
- •By registering as a seller, you confirm that you are a Canadian resident and are authorized to teach or instruct in your jurisdiction.
- •ETeachingShare reserves the right to verify residency and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these geographic requirements.
4. Originality of Materials
By uploading any resource to ETeachingShare, you represent and warrant that:
- •The materials are your original work, created entirely by you.
- •You hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the content.
- •The materials do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, copyrights, or trademarks.
- •The materials do not contain plagiarized content from textbooks, websites, or other published sources.
- •The materials do not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or professional standards.
Violation Policy: ETeachingShare reserves the right to remove any materials found in violation of this policy. Accounts of repeat offenders may be suspended or permanently terminated without refund.
5. Revenue Share & Payouts
Revenue Split
When a buyer purchases your resource, you will receive 70% of the sale price as your earnings. ETeachingShare retains a 30% platform commission to cover operational costs, payment processing infrastructure, and platform maintenance.
End-of-Month Payouts
All payouts to sellers are processed at the end of each calendar month. All sales completed within a given month are aggregated and disbursed as a single payment. You must have a valid, current payment method on file to receive payouts. ETeachingShare is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or outdated payment information.
6. Usage Rights
Sellers must clearly designate the permitted usage rights for their materials at the time of upload. Buyers are legally obligated to respect the stated usage rights. Available usage right designations are:
The resource may only be viewed digitally. Printing, copying, or modification is not permitted.
The resource may be printed for personal educational use by the purchasing teacher.
The resource content may be copied for personal classroom educational use.
The resource may be modified or adapted for educational purposes by the purchaser.
The purchasing teacher may share the resource directly with their enrolled students.
7. Prohibited Content
- •Materials that infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
- •Plagiarized content from textbooks, websites, or any published works
- •Inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content
- •Content intended to deceive, mislead, or defraud buyers
- •Spam, duplicate, or low-quality submissions
- •Content that violates any applicable laws or professional educational standards
8. Privacy & Data
ETeachingShare collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Your payment information is handled securely through our payment processor (Stripe) and is never stored directly on our servers. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your usage data may be used to improve platform features and personalize your experience.
9. Unauthorized Access & Earnings
ETeachingShare is a membership-only platform. If you are found to be accessing, uploading, or selling resources on ETeachingShare without an active ETeachingShare membership, any and all profits or earnings generated through your activity on the platform will be forfeited in full and retained by ETeachingShare and its owner. This includes any revenue from resource sales, whether pending or completed, during the period of unauthorized access. Unauthorized use of the platform may also result in immediate account suspension and legal action where applicable.
10. Account Termination
ETeachingShare reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. In the event of termination, any pending payouts for sales already completed will still be disbursed at the end of the current month. Memberships terminated mid-cycle are non-refundable.
11. Changes to Terms
ETeachingShare reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
